When our CBD flowers are trimmed, the excess that comes off is called shake or trim. Generally this would leave the excess to be sugar leaves. However, due to the timing of the planting and the harvest this year we had a large amount of smaller flowers. These flowers contain the same amount of cannabinoids, terpenes, and trichomes however, they were too little to stay in our trimmer's tumbler and therefore, were ground up and fell through to our catch tray. Leaving the shake, this year, with a very higher quality.
This trim is captured from Addison Farm's outdoor, locally grown flowers from right here in Granby, CT. Our flowers were started from certified seeds sourced from EcoGen Labs in Grand Junction, CO. The seeds were started in trays, potted, then planted in our tilled fields using organic soils and fed organic fertilizers. They were cared for without the use of pesticides. These precious plants were harvested by our caring hands. This process started with cutting down the plant and breaking it down to individual branches. These branches were then hang dried in our barn. After they reached the optimal moisture content the flowers were hand bucked and trimmed.
What you gain from this trimming process is a high quality CBD product containing the same benefits of raw CBD hemp flower at a fraction of the price! If you want pure, local, organically grown hemp flower trim in it's raw and natural form, you've come to the right place.
